Two suspected street racing cars crashed into a Florida home, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake and startling the homeowner who was taking a shower at midday.
Orlando homeowner Neshay Singleton says she was taking a shower when cars crashed into her bedroom. Two street racing cars crashed into her bedroom window, barely missing the woman she was taking a short break during her work day.

The photos show the massive accident with damage to the house, a tire and other debris in the road, and a palm tree that fell on top of one of the crashed cars. (Fox 35)
“Next thing I know, I hit the ground. I ran out to get my car keys to open the back door because I saw fire, and I just jumped out the back window,” Singleton told Fox 35.
Although Singleton did not suffer any injuries from the jolting crash, her home was severely destroyed by the two vehicles that collided with it.
Footage after the crash showed the devastating effect the suspected street racers had on the Singleton home. A palm tree fell on top of one of the crashed cars, and debris littered the woman’s front yard.

“The kid actually collapsed here,” Singleton said pointing to an area in his front yard. “He was trying to talk to me and tell me something, but he collapsed, and they took him to the ambulance, and when I got out there were three or four children running.”
After the incident, the two vehicles were towed away along with Singleton’s car, which was also badly damaged in the accident.
“My windshields are blown out.” Singleton explained. “And the back of my car is completely wrecked.”

The Orlando Police Department has not released any information about the suspects. Pictures and videos of the exterior of the Singleton home showed skid marks from the suspected street racers, leading police to believe the drivers were involved in illegal street racing.
“It appears the accident was caused by two of the racing vehicles, but the investigation is ongoing,” police told FOX 35.
Singleton has lived in her home since 2016 and shared that she will rely on friends and family as she now has no home or car since the accident.

Following the incident, police blocked off part of Ivey Lane in Orlando and began cleanup efforts.
