The opening of these two physical stores demonstrates Xiaomi South Africa’s recognition as a very important market, as well as its continued commitment to bring Innovation for All, as has always been the brand’s mission since the beginning of its journey.
Situated at Shop 82 at Canal Walk Shopping Centre, the new store has already opened for trade, but its official opening date is set for December 16, 2022. The official launch is to give everyone the opportunity to head to the store to celebrate this brand milestone, as well as take advantage of incredible opening specials.
These include 50% off select items, 10% off select other items and a free Mi Band 5, valued at R699, with any smartphone purchased from the store. All of these special offers are for one day only (December 16) and are valid while supplies last (terms and conditions apply).
Since Cape Town is the second most populous city in South Africa and one of the economic centers of the country, Xiaomi chose the Mother City for these and many other reasons as the location for its second store.
