Mickey

Mickey is a new face at OC Animal Care — he’s only been at the shelter for about a week after coming in as a stray. The shelter doesn’t have many details to offer about Mickey, but he was curious and calm when approached in his kennel.

He is currently available for adoption, and he’s eligible for the shelter’s March adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Mickey is also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program.

Here are Mickey’s details:

  • Pet ID: A1907267
  • Sex: Male (neutered)
  • Age: 2 years
  • Weight: 50 pounds
  • Color: Cream
  • Breed: Siberian Husky
  • Intake Date: 3/6/2025

Zora

Zora is one of the shelter’s longest residents — she’s been there for over a year after coming in as a stray. Staff notations describe her as a nice and confident dog who loves getting her belly rubbed.

Staff recommend she would be best suited for a home without children, and she may need some time to warm up to new people. Zora could also benefit from training.

She is currently available for adoption, and she’s eligible for the shelter’s March adoption promotion, which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.
