Zeus
Zeus has been at OC Animal Care in Tustin for nearly a year. He arrived at the shelter in December 2023 after he was returned by a previous adopter and has been waiting ever since.
Staff notations describe him as an adventurous pet that would be best suited for an active family where he can be the only dog in the household. He loves going on walks and already knows how to sit, according to staff descriptions.
Zeus requires a close watch since he’s been known to jump over fences and escape when unsupervised in the play yards at the shelter. He also might need an additional veterinarian consultation upon adoption due to an eye condition.
He is currently available for adoption, and he’s also available as part of the shelter’s foster-to-adopt program. Additionally, Zeus is eligible for the shelter’s November adoption promotion which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.

Shelter staff recommend a family that has experience with large dogs since he’s strong and may try to escape if given the opportunity. He requires firm discipline and basic training as soon as possible. Staff also recommend a home with no pets for Paul.
Paul is currently available for adoption, and he’s also eligible for the shelter’s November adoption promotion which is waiving adoption fees for all dogs 25 pounds and over.
