- Filming has started in The Real Housewives of Pretoriamaking it the fourth South African version.

NBCUniversal and MultiChoice are further expanding their collaboration with more African versions of The Real Housewives format.
Filming has begun on the first Afrikaans version of the reality show The Real Housewives of Pretoria (RHOP), produced by Provoco, making the new 13-episode reality series its fourth South African version. The show will premiere on Thursday, October 13 on kykNET (DStv 144) and will be simulcast on Showmax.
M-Net channel Mzansi Magic (DStv 161), MultiChoice video streaming service Showmax, and NBCUniversal Formats have so far collaborated on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, The Real Housewives of Durban Y The Real Housewives of Cape Townwhich is currently being broadcast.
According to a kykNET press release: “Six Pretoria women will dust off their most beautiful and expensive pairs of stilettos to entertain viewers every Thursday night.”

The Real Housewives of Nairobi
Filming will begin next month. The Real Housewives of Nairobi produced by Young Rich Television, reports Variety. DStv subscribers in East Africa will get their first version in Kenya, following The Real Housewives of Lagoswhich made its debut at Showmax in Nigeria earlier this year.
