The father of one of the four college students who were stabbed to death in Moscow, Idaho, said he didn’t picture suspected killer Bryan Kohberger looking the way he does.
Kaylee Goncalves’ father, Steve, said he thought Kohberger, the 28-year-old criminology student who is the sole suspect in the quadruple homicide of University of Idaho students Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin, would look more threatening and monstrous.
“No, I thought he would be much bigger and more of a monster, obviously he has that key look of someone who doesn’t get along with girls and this was like his only option or something,” Gonclaves told host Chris Cuomo during an interview. at NewsNation.
“He just seemed like a normal guy who wouldn’t stand out in any room or at any party,” the 21-year-old father of the deceased added. “Just from the looks of him, you wouldn’t know he had that in mind.”

Kohberger is believed to have entered the rental home of Goncalves and Mogen, both 21, and Kernodle, 20, before stabbing them to death in their beds during the early hours of November 13. Chapin, also 20, who was staying with his Kernodle’s girlfriend that night, was also found stabbed to death.
Police believe Kohberger carried out the attack between 4:00 a.m. and 4:25 a.m.
Steve Goncalves’ comments come as more is learned about Kohberger, who earned a Ph.D. student in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, which is located less than 10 miles from Moscow, Idaho.

That was perhaps the specific location it was headed for.”
The Idaho State Police laboratory later identified Kohberger’s DNA on the pod.
Kohberger was finally arrested in late December at his parents’ home in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, more than 2,500 miles from the school. He was on winter vacation at the time of the arrest. The white Hyundai Elantra was at the family home.

Legal experts have commented that the prosecution’s inclusion of the burglary charge could be key in court, as it suggests the suspect and victims had no prior relationship that would have justified Kohberger being in the house that night.
