The New York Police Department and the Philadelphia Police Department announced Friday that the shooting of a Parking Authority officer in Philadelphia the day after Thanksgiving may be related to the shooting of an employee of a gas station in the Bronx on November 22.
The departments released surveillance footage showing a suspect in both incidents who had a similar build and dressed alike.
On November 22, a Bronx gas station attendant was shot in the head by a suspect after he opened an unlocked door to his Boston Road store around 7 p.m. for what he believed to be a customer.
The 59-year-old victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
