Just before R’bonney Gabriel from the USA was crowned Miss Universe, outgoing Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu was seen emotionally on stage as she took her final walk. Dressed in black, Harnaaz Sandhu held back tears as she blew air kisses. She even stumbled a bit during the walk.
As Harnaaz Sandhu came up on stage, her voice-over sounded, “I was 17 years old when I first went on stage, and ever since then, becoming Miss Universe was my goal. I was given the megaphone on a world stage to introduce the theme song. of menstrual equity to world leaders asking them to keep this conversation going.”
Harnaaz Sandhu also thanked the Miss Universe Organization for helping her make her voice heard.
“Remember to live this year to the fullest because tomorrow is never promised,” Harnaaz Sandhu told the new Miss Universe.
Earlier, Harnaaz Sandhu received a message from the owner of the Miss Universe Organization, Chakrapong Anne Chakrajutathib.
“Today we show the whole world the New Universe Crown ‘Force of Good’ and tomorrow is the last day of your reign, my sister Harnaaz Sandhu. I love you from the bottom of my heart. You are only 22 years old, but very strong, independent, self-assured and of course elegantly beautiful. You made history in the world and we will always remember you my love,” Chakrapong Anne Chakrajutathib wrote on Instagram.
“Khun Anne, you are truly a beautiful soul with so much inspiration to all of us… it is always an honor for me to get to know you more and to know your vision of the whole world! Thank you for your kind words and love! Grateful,” replied Harnaaz Sandhu.
