Children’s toys still littered Lindsay Clancy’s backyard three weeks after she allegedly strangled her children to death and then attempted suicide, photos taken by Fox News Digital show.

No one appeared to be inside the Clancy’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home this week, but toys for fiveThree-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson, and seven-month-old Callan were scattered around the yard.

His defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, painted a similar image inside his home during Clancy’s arraignment on February 7, when he appeared in court from his hospital bed via Zoom.

“One thing that has always been evident is that Lindsay loved her children,” Reddington said in court. “She was in the house. The house is absolutely full of signs of love for those children.

“There are pictures on the wall, little drawings, all kinds of games, toys, playpens, bassinets in the living room and dining room. The kitchen was full of toys. Pretty much the whole house, including the master bedroom, had toys and stuff for children”.

The backyard photos show that the exterior was no different. There were slides of different sizes, swings, a small trampoline, a toy lawn mower, a plastic children’s roller coaster, among other toys.

Patrick Clancy, Lindsay’s husband, found his wife on the ground in their backyard littered with toys after he returned from running errands on January 24. She had jumped from her bedroom window in an attempt to take her life.

Meanwhile, children were dying in the basement with exercise ropes around their necks, prosecutors alleged during the arraignment.

The prosecution alleged that Lindsay, 32, deliberately arranged for her husband to leave the house that night and timed how long it would take him to run errands as part of a premeditated plot to kill their young children.

Reddington denied the allegations and painted an image of a woman who had been suffering from a mental health crisis and was on so much medication that she was “a zombie”.

She continues to receive mental health and physical injury treatment at a hospital after Reddington revealed in court that she is paralyzed from the waist down.

After hearing the arguments of both parties, the judge ruled that there would be no monetary bail and that Clancy would continue with the treatments and obtain permission to be transferred to other facilities.

Clancy faces murder charges, assault and battery with a deadly weapon, and strangulation. A not guilty plea to all charges was entered in his name.

His next court appearance is scheduled for May 2.

On January 28, Patrick Clancy said he forgave his wife and wants everyone else to do the same, in a statement on a GoFundMe page.

“The real Lindsay generously loved and cared for everyone: me, our children, family, friends and her patients,” she wrote. “The very fibers of her soul are loving. All I wish for her now is that she can somehow find peace.”
