San Francisco Police Officer Kyle Cagney testified that it took him and his partner about four minutes to respond to Pelosi’s residence. After ringing the doorbell, the door was flung open, Cagney said, and there were two men inside holding the same hammer.

Officers were reportedly heard yelling at DePape to drop the hammer, when he said, “uh, no.”
He was then tackled by the two officers, and Pelosi fell to the ground where she lay face down and motionless, apparently unconscious in a pool of blood, Cagney testified.
