Orange County’s residents in the canyons are facing evacuation orders once again amidst heavy rains after the Airport Fire burned through much of the same area last year – prompting mudslide concerns.  

As of noon on Thursday, mandatory evacuation orders were sent out for the Trabuco, Bell and Hot Springs Canyons, while the Long and Modjeska Canyon areas are still under voluntary evacuation orders.
