There are 72 unaccounted hours between the time Ana Walshe allegedly left her home in Massachusetts and the time she was reported missing, with very few details about her whereabouts in between.
Walshe, 39, of Cohasset, Massachusetts, left his home on January 1, supposed to get a carpool to Logan International Airport in Boston and fly to work in Washington DC, Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley told reporters.
There is no confirmation that she physically took the carpool to the airport, but it could have been done unofficially, according to the boss.
Police confirmed that he never boarded a flight and the search in various jurisdictions continued over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Cohasset detectives headed to DC to follow up on potential leads and conduct interviews in conjunction with the DC Metropolitan Police Department, Quigley said Saturday.

Walshe left his Cohasset home “early in the morning” on New Year’s Day, probably between 4 and 5 a.m., while his family was asleep, Quigley said.
There is no video footage of her departure, and security cameras have not caught any footage of her as of Saturday afternoon, according to police.
His plan was to take a carpool to the airport to catch a flight to Washington DC, where he works for the real estate company Tishman Speyer. Walshe’s flight to DC was originally booked for January 3, but police said during a news conference earlier this week that he left early because of “some kind of emergency” at work.
There is no evidence that Walshe boarded any flights or arrived at the airport, Quigley said this week.
