Monrovia – President Joseph  Boakai has, with immediate effect, suspended  Rostalyn Suakoko Dennis, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL), pending an investigation.

The suspension follows a resolution from the Board of Directors of NOCAL, which recommended the action in light of the ongoing allegations.

Madam Dennis has been instructed to surrender all government property in her possession to the interim team, led by Mr. Fabian Michael Lai, Vice President for Operations at NOCAL, who will take on interim oversight of the company’s operations.

The Government of Liberia remains steadfast in its commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, especially in the management of the nation’s natural resources.

An investigation into the allegations against Madam Dennis has been initiated.
