Eleven foreign nationals caught up in R700,000 drug bust
The Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD) conducted a R700,000 drug bust which resulted in the arrest of eleven foreign nationals in separate incidents in Pretoria.
Tshwane City spokesman Sipho Stuurman confirmed that on Wednesday 23 November 2022, nine suspects were arrested by the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD) Drug Unit in Pretoria West for drug trafficking.

Hefty fines will be imposed on turtle keepers
The Bloemfontein SPCA has promised to impose heavy fines on residents who keep pet turtles.
This after the Bloemfontein SPCA became alarmed by the large number of people keeping tortoises as household pets.
“Keeping such animals is an offense under South African law and specifically under Free State ordinances.”

Dozens of criminals missed out on hitting the jackpot this Black Friday weekend after they were caught immediately after committing a crime.
The only expense some of Pietermaritzburg’s criminals were making on Black Friday was time behind a jail cell, Mi7 National Group said after successes in its high-visibility Black Friday security campaign.

A cash transit guard had to be airlifted to hospital after being injured during a holdup tonight, Friday November 25 in Pretoria.
This afternoon, Emer-G-Med confirmed that its paramedics responded to the scene of a money-in-transit robbery and a bombing on Watloo Road in Silverton, Pretoria.
