A record over 4,500 visitors are expected to attend the Beauty West Africa show at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event takes place between November 29 and December 1.

The event, the largest international fair for beauty, hair and cosmetics in Africa, will also welcome more than 220 exhibitors from around the world.

At this year’s event, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in seminars and product demos, as well as attend a beauty conference and meet with celebrities and influencers from the world of beauty.

Countries for the expo come from Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America, with five countries hosting pavilions for exhibitors from Indonesia, South Africa, Senegal, Pakistan and Egypt.

BtoB Events Managing Director Jamie Hill said Beauty West Africa is now in its fourth edition.

Hill said: “Excitingly, many Nigerian startups are looking to expand their post-pandemic business. It is not only the range of exhibitors that attracts visitors, but also the Beauty Conference is a big draw.

“It is not only the range of exhibitors that attracts visitors, but also the Beauty Conference is a big draw. Once again, we will be partnering with Ezinne Alfa, the founder of Beauty in Lagos, to organize the Beauty West Africa conference programme.

“This will consist of many panel discussions covering hot topics in the West African beauty sector. Topics covered will include African market penetration, beauty founder goals and barriers to entry.

“We will also welcome a keynote address by a senior NAFDAC official addressing ‘The Dangerous Trend of Skin Bleaching in Nigeria’.”
