Jofra Archer will make her long-awaited return to England in the first ODI against South Africa in Bloemfontein on Friday.
Archer last played for England in March 2021 but continues to recover from elbow and lower back injuries.

Speaking ahead of the opener, England’s cue ball captain Jos Buttler said it’s “fantastic” to be able to call up the fast bowler.
“It’s great to have Jofra back, fit and playing cricket again. I speak for everyone that it’s such an exciting guy to have him back on the pitch,” he said.
“As England captain, to be able to have him back in your squad and team is brilliant. He’s only just returned to competitive cricket, this will be his first international game for a long time.”
“It would be naive to think that it wouldn’t take a bit of time for him to get to 100 percent. It’s just great to see him fit, playing again and we know he’s going to get better and better.” happens.”
England continue preparations for their World Cup Over 50 title defense this autumn with a three-match ODI series in South Africa, which kicks off live on Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event on Friday.
