All U of A students, faculty, and staff are cordially invited by the African Student Organization to the African Gala Night on Saturday, December 3 at 6 pm at the Fayetteville Town Center, located at 15 W. Mountain St. in Fayetteville.

All U of A students, faculty and staff are cordially invited by the African Student Organization to the African Gala Night at 6 pm on Saturday, December 3 at the Fayetteville Town Center, located at 15 W. Mountain in Fayetteville Square. .

The African Gala Night is an event that brings people from the Northwest Arkansas community together to enjoy an evening of learning about the different cultures of Africa and celebrating each other. There will be art shows, traditional foods, souvenirs and lots of fun at the event. The event serves to be a time that will highlight and represent people of African descent to come together and showcase their culture. Anyone from the Northwest Arkansas region is welcome.

Students can get their tickets for free and non-students can buy tickets from 11 am to 4 pm on November 28-29. Tickets will be handed out in front of the Arkansas Union. In the event of rain, tickets will be distributed outside the food court at Arkansas Union. Tickets are free for students, and paid tickets are available for non-students to purchase for $8. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis as we have a limited number of tickets. If you are unable to obtain your ticket during ticket distribution hours, please contact us at african@uark.edu.

This event is supported by the Student Activity Fee as an Associated Student Government funded event and is free to all students currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville who pay the Student Activity Fee. This event is held in a venue that meets ADA standards. People with disabilities are encouraged to attend this event.
