An 11-year-old boy is missing 70% of his scalp after three loose pit bulls pulled him off his bike and attacked him while he was riding through the neighborhood.

The boy, Justin Gilstrap, was missing half his ear, had bite marks on his leg, and had much of his scalp torn off by the time police arrived on the scene.

Justin’s cousin, 11-year-old Mason Aguilar, made the 911 call Friday when the three dogs launched their vicious attack, eventually dragging the boy into a ditch on the side of the road.

“All I hear is yelling ‘help, help, help,'” Mason said. “I thought my cousin was at his house playing. Then I saw him sitting in the ditch with three dogs and blood everywhere, saying, ‘Mason help, Mason help, Mason help.'”

Burt Baker III, the dogs’ owner, told police his dogs like to chase people on bicycles. Baker was arrested shortly thereafter and charged with reckless conduct.

“There’s not an inch of his body that doesn’t have a cut or a bruise,” Justin’s mother, Ericka Gilstrap, told WRDW. “His life will never be the same again.”

Mason’s mother, Kellie Aguilar, said this isn’t the first time the family has filed a complaint about Baker’s dogs.

“No one has ever done anything,” Ericka added. “They’re just on the loose. They’re not behind the fence. They’re not on a leash. They’re on the loose 24/7.”

According to Ericka Gilstrap’s Facebook, Justin has been suffering from a fever and has just come out of surgery where they removed some skin from his leg and scalp. Doctors say they are optimistic that the Integra graft will start soon.

“We want to thank everyone for your support! It means a lot.” Ericka Stevens told Fox News Digital.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help offset Justin’s medical costs. He currently has raised $140,000.
