Florida agents arrested a man they say was seen on video looking out a woman’s window Thursday night.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office released security video showing the man, identified as 29-year-old Steven Johnson, leaning out the window of a home in DeBary, Florida.
When deputies spotted the man while conducting additional patrols in the home’s neighborhood Thursday night, Johnson attempted to flee the area, leading deputies on a foot pursuit.
“Stop right now,” the officer can be heard saying via body camera.

According to authorities, Johnson was found with the help of a drone hidden in the water of a nearby swampy area.
Agents said Johnson lives in the same neighborhood as the victim and admitted to having “uncontrollable urges” to look out the woman’s window.
“That’s weird, man,” an officer tells Johnson. “It makes people uncomfortable. It gives you a weird feeling when you find out that someone is looking at you through a window.”

He was arrested and initially charged with loitering or loitering and resisting an officer without violence and is being held in the Volusia County Jail on $1,000 bond.

Authorities said officers responded to the same neighborhood last weekend “when a resident reported that her neighbor’s camera caught an unknown male suspect leaning out her window three times.”
