Charlbi Dean’s cause of death has been confirmed.

News24 reported about the death of the South African actor and model in August. At that time, it was largely reported the triangle of sadness star, 32, died of a sudden and unexpected illness.

Now, according to a New York City medical examiner, Dean died of bacterial sepsis, according to People.

The sepsis “was a complication of asplenia (the absence of a spleen) due to remote blunt trauma to the torso.”

His death was ruled an accident.

Following the news of his sudden death, Dean’s brother, Alex Jacobs, it was pronouncedrevealing that he previously had his spleen removed, which may have resulted in him being unable to fight the disease.

Furthermore, the report reveals that the bacterial sepsis occurred after she became infected with a bacterium known as Capnocytophaga. The infection is rare; Capnocytophaga thrives in the mouth of humans, which is also present in the mouth of dogs and cats. And those with autoimmune problems and no spleen are particularly susceptible.
