A California man has been arrested for murder in the death of his father, whose body was discovered by authorities in the Irvine home they shared, the Irvine Police Department said.
Tyler Shipper, 24, was arrested Friday after Irvine police responded to a call about an injured man.
The caller had alerted police after he went to the house to check on 69-year-old Bruce Shipper because he didn’t show up for work that day.
But when the affected person appeared at the home, he was received by the son, who allegedly appeared “disheveled” and did not allow the individual to enter.
