California authorities released the first photos of the suspected Monterey Park mass shooter who reportedly killed 10 people and injured 10 others Saturday night.
“On Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:22 p.m., the male/adult/Asian suspect pictured above was involved in a shooting. Investigators identified him as a homicide suspect and should be considered armed and dangerous,” the officer said. Los Angeles County Sheriff. he tweeted on Sunday.
The photos show the unidentified man wearing a hat, glasses and a winter coat. He is approximately 5’10” and weighs 150 pounds, according to authorities. The previous Sunday he was described as an Asian male between the ages of 30 and 50.

Authorities confirmed Sunday that 10 people were killed and at least 10 others injured and taken to local hospitals after a gunman opened fire on people shortly after the Lunar New Year festivities ended in the city. The shooting took place on West Garvey Avenue around 10:22 p.m., according to authorities.

The victims include five men and five women, and all were “probably” of Asian descent, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna.
