The countdown has officially begun for the premiere of what promises to be the ‘biggest season yet’ of the Big Brother franchise. big brother titansPresented by Lawrence Maleka and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

The special edition of the reality show, which will feature roommates from South Africa and Nigeria in one house, premieres on Sunday, January 15 at 8:00 p.m. on DStv 198. This season, which runs until April, the winner will take a casa, among others, a cash prize of $100,000 (R1.7 million).

“This special edition is a fusion of two television phenomena, bb mzansi Y BBNaija“, said the head of programming of the M-Net channels, Nomsa Philiso, in a press release. “We are bringing housemates from two giant nations, South Africa and Nigeria, under one roof to provide entertainment to the audiences of across the continent, a spectacle of intense drama like never before. before.”

“We’re telling our audience to get ready for the biggest TV takeover starting on January 15, 2023. It promises a whole lot of South African and Nigerian swag, banter, romance and everything in between.”

Philiso added that, as usual, viewers would have to vote to keep their favorite housemates on the show. Viewer votes would also determine the winner in Africa after 72 days.

“Fans of Big Brother Mzansi 8 Y BBNaija in the diaspora are not left out as Showmax will broadcast the show in the UK, New Zealand and 50 other countries,” the statement continued.

In the meantime, fans of the two shows can catch up on previous seasons on the streaming platform while they wait for the big brother titans premiere.
