Police are increasingly concerned about the condition of a missing Massachusetts mother of three who was last seen on New Year’s Day.

The missing person case of Ana Walshe, 39, became more mysterious after her old home caught fire Friday afternoon, police said.

Walshe, 39, of Cohasset, Massachusetts, was reported missing Wednesday after leaving her home around 4 a.m. New Year’s Day to hop on a rideshare headed to Logan International Airport in Boston to Washington DC, Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley told reporters Friday morning.

“Every hour, we’re becoming more concerned about her well-being,” Quigley told “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Saturday. “We have more questions than answers.”

He reiterated the statement later in the television interview when asked about the two-alarm fire, which Quigley called “very unusual circumstances” and said is under investigation.

Cohasset Fire Chief John Dockray said Friday that three adults and a young child escaped the fire on Jerusalem Road without injury, and that the cause of the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation.

But the State Fire Marshal’s Office and Cohasset Police said he “does not appear to be suspicious.”

Walshe was on his way to DC, where he works for real estate company Tishman Speyer, who told Fox News Digital that he was assisting authorities “in their continued search for our dear colleague, Ana, and praying for her safe return.”

Quigley revealed Saturday that Cohasett detectives and Massachusetts State Troopers will travel to DC to conduct interviews and pursue leads alongside the DC Metropolitan Police Department.

Alissa Kirby, identified as a friend of Walshe’s, told WCVB that she is concerned that Walshe would not go as long without talking to her husband or their young children, who range in age from two to six.

“She is a loving and loyal wife and mother of three beautiful children,” Kirby told WCVB.

Walshe hasn’t left any fingerprints since she went missing and her cellphone was turned off, police said.

She was first reported missing on Wednesday, the same day she had a plane ticket out of Boston’s Logan International Airport.

However, she did not get on that plane and detectives were told that she would return to DC early on New Year’s Day to handle an emergency involving one of the properties she manages.

His disappearance is being treated as a missing person case So far, Quigley said, noting that “there is nothing to support anything suspicious or criminal.”

Another detail in the case is her husband’s criminal past.

Brian Walshe, pleaded guilty in US District Court in Boston in 2021 after being arrested a few years earlier for selling two fake Andy Warhol paintings to a South Korean buyer for $80,000, according to federal prosecutors.

Quigley said the case appears to be unrelated to the disappearance of Ana Walshe. He said Brian Walshe, who said he was asleep when Ana walked out the door early Sunday, is cooperating with investigators.
