Lovebirds Lisel and Musa flew to the United States on December 29 to close the year 2022 in the Big Apple. The doctor-turned-media personality said his stunning wife gave him a two-day trip to New York as a Christmas present.
HOW DID THE COUPLE DEPARTURE COME OUT?
While sharing a photo of their passports at Oliver Thambo International Airport (OR Thambo), Musa said:
“On Christmas morning, we give each other presents, and boy, did I get this year!”
“The girl booked me (and my new silver-haired girl) a trip abroad over the New Year,” she added.
The South African presenter praised Liesl’s enormous generosity in saying he had the best wife and shared that he didn’t know what he had done to deserve such an amazing soul mate.
On the first day of the trip, the former Miss South Africa and her husband could be seen in town, exploring the City.
WHERE AND WHERE DID THE COUPLE GO IN NEW YORK CITY?
The South African model posted photos in which she captioned that jet lag had caught up with her and Musa. She admitted that fatigue tried to ruin her date night at an Asian fusion restaurant in downtown New York. She wrote
“Date night ???????? We were cute too bad but by frames 5 and 6 jet lag was HAVING us. It was only 6:47 p.m. and we were RUINED, RUINED.”
The happily married couple could be seen making memories as they counted down to 2023 at the top of the Empire State Building.
“I watched the ball drop (well, not quite, it was making its way so that still counts) in Time Square before the head of house decided that “house” would be a better option for the countdown – blame it on old age and sore knees…

The parents are tired now. They need to rest their tired old bones and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures,” Liesl captioned.
In a vlog, the gorgeous couple could also be seen out and about in the busy city. They visited Grand Central Terminal, Time Square, Sapphora and also stopped for lunch at a local deli in the area.
