American comedian Dave Chappelle arrives in Ghana and gets a cultural welcome at KIA, video

• In a video seen online, he was captured smiling as he tried to imitate the dance moves of cultural dancers at the airport.

Popular American comedian Dave Chappelle has officially arrived in Ghana and videos show him being warmly welcomed at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

When she arrived on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, she was given a kente sash with ‘Beyond The Return’ woven into it, which was wrapped around her neck.

The 49-year-old smiled as some cultural dancers greeted him by singing and dancing as he tried to imitate their steps on a video.

The renowned comedian is in Ghana for the highly anticipated Black Star Line Festival which is taking place at Black Star Square in Accra Ghana.

Meanwhile, The Black Star Line festival, hosted by American rapper Chance The Rapper and Ghanaian American rapper Vic Mensa, is a celebration of Pan-Africanism. The festival seeks to build bridges between black and diaspora artists with the African continent.

The free concert will feature performances by Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Erykah Badu, T-Pain, Jeremih, Sarkodie, Tobe Nwigwe, Asakaa Boys and M.anifest, and will take place on January 6, 2023 at the historic Accra’s Black Star Square. .
