A four-year-old Utah kidnapping victim was found Friday in the town of Midvale, and the AMBER alert issued after her disappearance has been cancelled.
The boy was located shortly after 9:30 p.m. local time.
A FOX 13 reporter was on Brigham Junction Road when a woman stopped him and asked for help alerting police after she discovered the boy. The reporter, Spencer Joseph, helped the woman contact police.

“One of the most incredible moments of my news career. As I arrived on the scene, a woman waved me over and said she found a scared little girl and left her alone. I helped her find the police and they determined that this little girl It was the one that was missing.” on this amber alert,” Joseph wrote in a tweet.
The alleged kidnapper is Jonathan Moises Wuanloxten Hidalgo, 20 years old. Police said the victim is not related to Hidalgo.

Police are still looking for Hidalgo, but his vehicle, a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, was found abandoned on the side of a road. Hidalgo is reportedly armed with a knife.
According to police, Hidalgo is 5’8″, weighs 180 pounds and has black hair.
