An off-duty police officer working security in Texas shot a man who managed to grab his stun gun and electrocute him as he was being escorted out of a bar and restaurant.
San Antonio police say they responded to a Twin Peaks at Southwest Loop 410 Saturday night regarding an ongoing shooting.
When they arrived, they found out that a gentleman was asked to leave by the restaurant staff after a disturbance broke out.
When the man refused to leave, an off-duty Somerset police officer working security escorted him away for “being intoxicated and belligerent,” reports FOX 29.

San Antonio police say an off-duty officer shot a 34-year-old man who managed to grab his taser and electrocute him as he was being escorted out of a local sports bar. (FOX 29 San Antonio)
Police say the man managed to grab the officer’s taser and stimulate him as he resisted. The off-duty officer then fired at the man, hitting him in the chest.
The man was reportedly rushed to hospital in critical condition.

The officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
