Monrovia – The Liberia National Police (LNP) has issued an official statement regarding an incident that occurred on Saturday at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Sports Complex in Paynesville.

The incident involved a scuffle between a police officer and BBC Liberia correspondent Moses Garzeawu. The altercation, which was captured on video and has since gone viral, has garnered significant attention and raised concerns across the country.
In its statement, the LNP acknowledged the incident and assured the public that a full investigation is currently underway.
