An armed robber fled for his life from a southeast Texas store after the clerk drew a gun and shot the would-be robber.
Detectives with the Sugar Land Police Department outside of Houston video released this week of a man who entered the WB Food Mart, displayed a gun, and fired a bullet into the ceiling.
The man then pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money from the register.
The employee grabbed a gun and the robber opened fire when the employee responded in self-defense, according to police.
