CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – The 2022 FIFA World Cup is officially underway in Qatar, and Lowcountry restaurants and bars are hosting watch parties during the major sporting event.
The USA team faces Wales, England and Iran in the group stage. All three games will be played at 2:00 pm ET.

The Charleston Battery will be hosting a watch party for the US vs. Wales opener on November 21 at 2:00pm. Merchandise, drink specials and other promotions will be available during the game.

Bay Street Biergarten is hosting parties to watch all three of the US games against Wales (November 21, England (November 25) and Iran (November 29). Open exclusively for each USA game, patrons will be able to sample a limited edition Dortmunder Style Lager while cheering on the USMNT.

The West Ashley High School soccer program is hosting a watch party for Monday’s game against Wales at Ireland’s Own at 1:30pm The pub will also be showing the other two USA World Cup games. they can purchase a raffle ticket to enter to win one of two USA World Cup jerseys on game day.
