A man who was seen on surveillance video last week shooting and killing an armed suspect trying to rob a Houston taco shop was questioned by police Monday.
Houston police detectives questioned the 46-year-old man and, after consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, it was determined that the shooting will be referred to a grand jury, police said.
The man’s identity has not been released because he has not been arrested or charged, police said. The grand jury will decide the man’s charges once all the evidence is presented.
Police referred any additional questions to the office of District Attorney Kim Ogg, who was not available to comment.
