The former home of a missing Massachusetts mother of three, last seen several days ago, caught fire Friday.
Firefighters were battling a house fire on Jerusalem Road in Cohasset, 22 miles southeast of Boston, and at least two fire trucks were on the scene, according to local media.
The house formally belonged to Ana Walshe, who was last seen on New Year’s Day. She left her Cohasset home around 4 a.m. to get a carpool to catch a flight to Washington, DC, to work at her real estate business, the Cohasset police chief told reporters Friday. , William Quigley.

Investigators later confirmed that Walshe, 39, never made her flight and that a search for her in Cohasset and Washington came up empty. Tishman Speyer, Walshe’s employer, told Fox News Digital that she was assisting authorities “in the continued search for our dear colleague, Ana, and we pray for her safe return.”
“She is a loving and loyal wife and mother of three beautiful children,” Alissa Kirby, identified as another friend of Walshe’s, said in an interview with WCVB.
Walshe hasn’t left any fingerprints since she went missing and her cellphone was turned off, police said.
Quigley said she was first reported missing on Wednesday, the same day she had a plane ticket out of Boston. However, she did not get on that plane and detectives were told that she would return to Washington early on New Year’s Day to handle an emergency involving one of the properties she manages.
Her disappearance is being treated as a missing person case so far, Quigley said, noting that “there is nothing to support anything suspicious or criminal.”

Ana Walshe commuted from Massachusetts to Washington, DC, every week to work in real estate, friends told WCVB.

Walshe’s husband, Brian Walshe, pleaded guilty in US District Court in Boston in 2021 after being arrested a few years earlier for selling two fake Andy Warhol paintings to a South Korean buyer for $80,000, they said. federal prosecutors.
Quigley said the case appears to be unrelated to the disappearance of Ana Walshe. He said Brian Walshe, who said he was asleep when Ana walked out the door early Sunday, is cooperating with investigators.
