The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, or GBI, is investigating an officer-involved shooting after a gun-wielding man in a suburban neighborhood was shot Sunday.
Police responded to reports of a man walking through a Mableton, Georgia neighborhood while carrying a long gun for several hours around 7:45 p.m. on January 1.

José Razo allegedly walked through a neighborhood with a rifle, failed to comply when ordered by police to put the gun down, and was shot, though not killed. The matter is now being investigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, at the request of the Cobb County Police Department.
