US forces captured six ISIS militants in a series of helicopter strikes in eastern Syria over the past 48 hours, Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Tuesday.

The captured terrorists include al-Zubaydi, whom CENTCOM describes as a senior Islamic State Syrian province official involved in orchestrating attacks in Syria.

“The capture of these ISIS operatives will disrupt the terrorist organization’s ability to plan and carry out further destabilizing attacks.”
