The Investigative Services Branch of the National Park Service (ISB) is seeking to identify a male victim of an assault case in August.

In a statement, the branch said U.S. park rangers from the Lake Mead National Reaction Area and ISB special agents were asking the public for help and noted that the information could help with other ongoing investigations.

The man was “violently assaulted by a group of people while camping with his family near the shoreline of the Nelson Landing Area on Lake Mohave.” That is located approximately 30 miles south of Boulder City, Nevada.

According to the ISB, the assault occurred on the night of August 28.
