A vehicle carrying passengers coming from a wedding skidded off a mountain road in Nepal killing 12 people, police said Tuesday. There were no survivors.
The small passenger truck was over capacity when it veered off the mountain road near the town of Chedagad, some 250 miles northwest of the capital Kathmandu.

Police said the accident happened on Monday night and when rescuers arrived at the scene, eight had already died. Three more died on the way to the hospital and one died later in the hospital.

After going off the road, the vehicle rolled approximately 650 feet down the side of the mountain.
