LEVEL 6 Weather Advisory: Severe Thunderstorms in Gauteng

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) issued a Level 6 Orange Warning for severe thunderstorms for Gauteng on Tuesday 6 December. The weather advisory key indicates a high probability of significant weather-based impacts.

The storm warning is valid from 2:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday. The weather service instructed Gauteng residents to stay indoors and away from metal objects.

The body of a three-year-old boy is recovered from a toilet in Limpopo

Parents have been urged to be extremely cautious and practice extra care after the body of a three-year-old boy was recovered from a toilet in Tshino Nditwanin village in Limpopo.

The incident occurred on Monday, December 5, 2022.

According to information available to the South African Police Service (SAPS), the three-year-old boy was last seen by his uncle on Sunday morning between 07:30 and 08:30. His parents reported the matter to the police.

“Yes, We Cull Them” – SPCA on Pitbulls Surrendered

he Bloemfontein SPCA, arguably the most active branch when it comes to Pitbull bashing, has come out to clear the air about the misconceptions surrounding the giving up of Pitbulls by owners.

The clarion comes after reports suggesting large numbers of pit bulls were forcibly taken from their owners and euthanized.

In a statement, the Bloemfontein SPCA decided to put an end to the rumours.

“An unfortunate and sad misconception and false story is doing the rounds on social media about inducted Pit Bulls in recent weeks.
We have been inundated with calls to pick up PB dogs, and not once have we forcefully taken any animal.
No Pit Bulls during this volatile and emotional period were booked with us for safekeeping or shipment. The female pit bull, named Chloe, was turned over to the Bloemfontein SPCA, as was the case with many others.”

VIDEO: Horrible kidnapping in Umhlanga caught on camera

A group of armed kidnappers recently attacked a family in their driveway in Umhlanga.

According to Action Society Director of Community Safety, Ian Cameron, the hijackers were shot dead by motorcyclists who witnessed the attempt.

He said these legally armed citizens are life savers.
