While the cause of death remains unverified, the Liberia National Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Preliminary reports from local sources have speculated that Futloo may have taken his own life, though these claims have not been independently confirmed by authorities or the hotel.

In a brief statement, the management expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Futloo, describing him as more than just a leader to the hotel. “Anwar was not just a leader; he was the heart of Boulevard Palace, inspiring every member of our team with his unwavering dedication, compassion, and vision,” the statement read.

The hotel’s management further praised his transformative leadership, noting that under his guidance, the Boulevard Palace had become a renowned symbol of excellence. “Anwar’s leadership transformed our hotel into a place where both guests and employees felt at home,” the statement continued.

The unexpected death has sparked numerous rumors across Monrovia, with some locals alleging that Futloo may have consumed an unknown substance before his passing. However, the Liberia National Police has yet to release an official report on the cause of death, and investigations are still ongoing.

The Boulevard Palace Hotel has thanked the community for its outpouring of support and condolences, acknowledging the impact of Futloo’s life both inside and outside the organization. “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community for the overwhelming calls of support, care, and concern during this difficult time. Your kindness reminds us of the many lives Anwar touched both within and beyond our organization,” the hotel said.

The management also asked for continued prayers for Futloo’s family, including his wife and young son. “The loss they bear is immeasurable, and we all need your collective love and strength to navigate this painful journey,” the statement concluded.

Boulevard Palace Hotel has pledged to honor Futloo’s legacy by maintaining the high standards he set during his tenure.

As investigations continue, the Liberia National Police urges the public to refrain from speculation, emphasizing that official statements will be made once the cause of death is confirmed.
