Monrovia –Liberia Football Association lower women’s club ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? head coach ???????????????????????????? ???????????????? wants to win the League with World Girls this season and believes that aiming simply for promotion is not good enough.
The former Liberian female captain now a coach knows that winning the League this season will be a big ask, but thinks that her club should aim for nothing less than winning the title.
“I want to be champion,” said Famatta .
“A big evolution in the team, without being champion as somebody else was very strong, would not be a disappointment.
“But to say with the end of the first phase that promotion to the upper league is the target? Promotion is not the target. We want to play to be champions”.
However, Famatta Dean insists that there was no specific request from the club board to win t League this season.
“There was no ultimatum,” she said.
“The message from the owners was: get the team back in the top flight, do your work, improve the team and bring us back where we belong”,
“My message was that I wanted to win the title in the first season”.

The Lower Women’s outfit will on Tuesday February 6, face Upper women’s side Senior Professional FC in the Orange Cup second round.
