Iran sent a clear message to Israel at a weapons show on Wednesday by displaying a missile with “death to Israel” written on the side, the Jerusalem Post first reported.

The missile was just one in a display of weapons and military equipment that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force unveiled at a public event in the central city of Isfahan, roughly 270 miles south of Tehran, the state agency announced. Tasnim News.

The display came a week after a drone strike struck a military factory in Isfahan, causing minimal damage to a roof with no reported casualties.

TENSIONS RISE AS IRAN THREATS ISRAEL AND REVEALS NEW UNDERGROUND AIR BASE

It is not clear what the military factory was producing, but Iran was quick to blame Israel for the attack.

Jerusalem has not commented on the incident, though Western defense officials said they too believed the attack was carried out by Israel.

Israel and Iran have long been engaged in proxy wars and covert operations across the Middle East, though tensions between the two nations appear to have risen in recent weeks.

The display in Isfahan also came on the same day that Iran unveiled a new underground airbase dubbed “Eagle 44” capable of housing fighter jets, bombers and long-range cruise missiles, during which an Iranian general again named Israel as his main adversary.
