Getting a group of dogs to stay together in a line seems like a hectic task, but it’s also adorable beyond words. A German citizen has held the Guinness World Record for teaching his dog to stand on a conga line. Wolfgang Lauenburger and his pack of 14 dogs broke the record set by his daughter Alexa, who accomplished the feat with nine dogs in February 2022.

Video of Lauenburger and his daughter instructing the dogs by balancing their forelimbs on the back of the dog in front was shared by the official Guinness World Records Twitter user on Tuesday.
Along with the video, the caption reads: “New record: most dogs in a conga line – 14 by Wolfgang Lauenburger (Germany) Wolfgang led Emma, Filou, Fin, Simon, Susy, Maya, Ulf, Speck, Bibi, Katie, Jennifer, Elvis, Charly and Cathy in the long line.”
The video also impressed a barrage of dog lovers, and netizens widely applauded the video. One user wrote: “That’s the healthiest thing I’ve seen today,” while another user wrote: “The balance and grace, oh the cuteness!”

The 14 dogs that were part of the pack formed a conga line in front of a Guinness judge. According to the Guinness World Record guidelines, the dogs had to move at least five meters while holding the pose.
A conga line is basically a form of dance where people line up one behind the other holding each other’s shoulders or waist as they dance.
Notably, the father-daughter duo have held multiple records and one of them is the most laps, 62, by a dog in one minute.
