The Gizzu Everglow Rechargeable Emergency LED Bulb is an ideal solution for keeping lights on during load shedding. The 9W bulb features a 22mm bayonet lamp and emits a warm white color when turned on. Its built-in 1800 mAh battery allows it to stay on during charging disconnection. The bulb takes about five hours to fully charge to 100% and can be easily charged simply by leaving the light on when there is no loss of charge. If the light is on and there is a power outage or loss of load, the bulb goes into limp mode and turns a cool white color.
While in emergency mode, brightness can be manually adjusted between three preset settings and can support up to five hours of additional use during load shedding, depending on brightness level. The brightness can be adjusted by turning the light on and off in one-second intervals several times. Each time this is done, the brightness will change between 25%, 50%, and 100%. Leaving the bulb off for a while will reset the brightness setting to its default brightness of 100%.
Smart bulb technology allows the bulb to determine if there is a power outage instead of turning off the light switch. If the light switch is turned on and the power fails, the bulb will go into limp mode and change from warm white to cool white.
